There are several missions efforts that Destiny supports on a monthly basis. We have strong relationshps with each of these ministries and make sure to keep in regular touch with them to know how to best support them both spiritually and financially.

Jim and Pat Harris
The Harrises are based in Asia and the scope of their work includes orphanages, medical clinics, church plants, feeding programs, and mentoring indigenous leaders. Their outreaches cover India, Nepal, Cambodia, Thailand, Vietnam, Myanmar (Burma) and Indonesia. They minister primarily to Muslims, Hindus and Buddhists. In the past several years they have been among the first humanitarian responders on the scene of natural disasters such as tsunamis, earthquakes, cyclones, flooding, and volcanic eruptions. The humanitarian portion of the ministry is a tool that opens people’s hearts to the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Relevant Expeditions is a evangelical and humanitarian missions organization dedicated to reaching the lost and relieving suffering.

Feed The Forgotten

Feed the Forgotten is dedicated to the mission of feeding the forgotten people
groups of the world. Their focus is specially geared towards feeding lepers,
widows, and orphans.

Mark and Joanie Akers
Many people are unaware that St. Louis has more foreign refugees than any
other city in America. Mark and Joanie are accomplishing world missions in
their home town by providing furniture, mentoring, tutoring, and assistance
to the refugees while they settle into their new homes.

Duane and Leslie Ficker
The Ficker family is making a long-lasting impact in Guatemala by helping
the people of the region agriculturally, offering medical clinics, and
assisting the local churches.

Serve St. Louis

Serve St. Louis is a ministry of Destiny Church committed to making
opportunities for people to meet the needs of others by doing things that
they love to do. Most people have the same questions: What needs to be
done? How can I help? When will I find time? Serve St. Louis is a
bridge to move people past their questions and into their communities by
creating opportunities for people with a diversity of abilities, ages, and
lifestyles.

Kings Kids Village

John and Molly Stern
This ministry is an AIDS-related orphanage where kids live in a loving and
caring Christian environment. In Kenya, there are over 2 million children
either orphaned or whose parents are too sick to provide for them. Children
who are helped would otherwise be forgotten or destitute.

As a church, God is revealing to us how to live as the Bride of Christ and the urgency of this hour.
I have been living in 1 Peter and chapter 4 verse 7 says,  “The end of all things is near. Therefore be clear minded and self-controlled so that you can pray.” In this hour it is so important that we stay focused on what Jesus is saying and doing and respond obediently to those things. Let’s dig deep, prepare ourselves for the hour is at hand.

JANUARY 2-5

This year’s missions conference was an incredible time of hearing the prophetic word of the Lord over Destiny!

The weekend services were powerful, followed by a great word brought by Joyce Meyer challenging every one of us to become the missionary that God wants us to be.

Joe Champion’s word on Monday encouraged us to open our eyes to surroundings that God puts us in, and ask God what He’s wanting to do through us at all times.

Finally, Moses Vegh declared that God’s building a prophetic community here.
